RITES Deputy General Manager (Mech.) - Bulk Material Handling Expert Recruitment 2026

Age Limit

• Maximum age for UR: 50 years as on 08-03-2026.
• Relaxations: SC/ST 5 years, OBC-NCL 3 years, PwBD 10 years in addition to category relaxations (as applicable).

Educational Qualification

• Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline recognized by AICTE.
• Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Technology in Mechanical / Production / Production & Industrial / Manufacturing / Mechanical / Railways / Mechatronics & Automobile or any of the above combinations in part or whole.
• Degree must be recognized by AICTE and obtained from a university incorporated by an Act of Parliament or declared Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
• Sections A & B examination of the Institution of Engineers (India), treated as equivalent to Degree by Govt. of India and recognized by AICTE, shall also be accepted.
• UR/EWS candidates must have first-class degree or a minimum 60% marks in the minimum qualification.
• Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD as applicable) should have at least 50% marks in the minimum qualification for consideration against reserved posts.

Experience

• Minimum 09 years’ post-qualification experience in designing and optimizing bulk material handling systems.
• Experience with process flow diagrams, capacity calculations, optimization studies, and knowledge of material handling systems (conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, ship loaders/unloaders, silos, wagon tipplers, rapid loading systems).
• Proven capability in project lifecycle management from feasibility to commissioning.
• Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and lifecycle analysis of CAPEX and OPEX.

Nationality

• Eligible to work in India as per applicable laws and guidelines.

Application Fee

• UR Category: Rs. 600 plus taxes.
• SC/ST/PwBD: Full fee payable online; however, fee may be refunded after participation in the selection process following submission and verification of valid category certificates.

• PwBD candidates receive a concession in the fee if otherwise eligible.
