Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years
• Age relaxation as per rules

Educational Qualifications

• 10th Pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT in the relevant Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering trades
• 10th Pass plus ITI in the relevant Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering trades
• 10th Pass - the selected candidate has to undergo 2 years of training
• 12th (+2 Stage) Pass or its equivalent
• 10th Pass OR ITI OR equivalent OR NAC granted by NCVT

Notes

• Multiple qualifications are listed; candidates must meet the applicable criterion for the specific post they are applying for.

Application Fee

• General/UR candidates: Rs. 500
• SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes: Rs. 250

Important Instructions

• Selection will involve document verification and trials to assess sports performance. Only candidates deemed FIT will advance to subsequent stages.
• Trials dates will be announced on the RWF website and may be held at Rail Wheel Factory Stadium, Yelahanka, Bangalore, or another notified venue.
• Candidates should regularly check the official RWF website for updates. Changes to dates/venue will not be entertained.

How to Apply

• Applications are to be submitted offline by 29-11-2025 (17:00 hrs). For residents of North Eastern states and certain regions, the extended closing date is 05-12-2025 (17:00 hrs).
• The notification, annexures, and application form are available on the Rail Wheel Factory website. Print Annexure-I on good quality A-4 paper and fill in handwriting in blue ink.
• Applications may be filled either in English or Hindi.
