Age Limit

Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 31 August 2026. Age relaxation and reservations will be as per Government of Odisha guidelines.

Educational Qualifications

• Trade Apprentice (ITI): Passed ITI in the respective trade from a government-recognized institute.
• Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a government-recognized institute/university.
• Graduate/Degree Apprentice: Degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a government-recognized institute/university.

General Eligibility

• Regular candidates who have completed qualifying examinations within the last five years (2022-2026).
• No prior apprenticeship or one year of work experience disqualifies the candidate if applicable.
• Candidates must meet age criteria and other conditions as per apprenticeship norms.

• Notification Release Date: 17 July 2026
• Last Date to Apply Online (Portal Registration): 26 August 2026
• Age Reckoning Date: 31 August 2026
• Walk-In for various trades: 1-26 September 2026 (dates vary by trade/branch; reporting times 9:30 AM-10:30 AM)

Application Fee

The notification does not mention any application fee for RSP Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27. Candidates must complete online registration on the respective government portal before the last date.

Important Instructions for Applicants

• NAPS/NATS registration proof

Selection Process

Merit-based selection with weights: 30% Class X marks and 70% Degree/Diploma/ITI marks (as applicable). Selection depends on vacancies in each category and discipline.

Stipend (Monthly)

• Trade Apprentices (ITI): ₹10,560 (₹9,600 for COPA & Welder)
• Graduate Apprentices (Degree): ₹12,300
• Technician Apprentices (Diploma): ₹10,900 Note: 50% of stipends for Degree/Diploma apprentices may be paid by the BOPT under DBT mode, as applicable. Training duration: one year.
