Eligibility Details

Essential Qualifications

• Postgraduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from a recognized university, and B.Ed from a National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution for PGT (English).
• Graduate or equivalent for Band Master/Counsellor positions as applicable, with relevant training or qualification as described in the official notification.

Desirable Qualifications

• Higher qualifications, teaching experience in English medium public schools, proficiency in English, and participation in co- and extracurricular activities. The candidate should be physically fit.

Other

• The relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates and Ex-servicemen is as per Central Government rules.
