Samagra Shiksha DNH & DD Recruitment 2026: Walk-in for 74 Pre-School Teacher & Caretaker/Helper Posts

Age Limit

• For both posts, the age must not exceed 30 years. Relaxation is as per Central Government orders/guidelines in force at the time of recruitment.

Pre-School Teacher

• Senior Secondary (Class XII or equivalent) with at least 45% marks, per NCTE Regulations 2002, AND a Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education/Pre-School Education/Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.C.Ed.) of not less than one year, or B.Ed. (Nursery) from an NCTE-recognized institution.
• OR Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE Regulations, 2002).
• OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
• Candidates with a Diploma in Elementary Education or B.El.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution may be considered, provided they complete a six-month Bridge Course in Nursery Teacher Education/Pre-School/Early Childhood Education Programme recognized by NCTE within two years of appointment.

Caretaker/Helper (Female)

• Secondary (Class X or equivalent) from a recognized board with at least 45% marks.

Important Dates

• Walk-in dates: 16/09/2026 (Pre-School Teacher, DNH); 17/09/2026 (Caretaker/Helper, DNH); 18/09/2026 (Caretaker/Helper, Daman).
• Registration time: 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on each notified date. Candidates must register within this window. No entry after 11:00 AM.

• Engagement is purely on Short Term Contract (STC); no right to future regularization.
• Bring original and self-attested copies of all documents on the day of Walk-in Interview.
• No TA/DA for attending the interview.
