Age limit

• Maximum age: 30 years as of 30 September 2025. Candidates should be born on or after 1 October 1995.
• Relaxation: OBC - 3 years; SC/ST - 5 years; PwBD - 10 years.

General eligibility

• General: Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years) in any discipline OR Bachelor’s Degree in Law OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized university/institute OR Chartered Accountant/ Chartered Financial Analyst/ Company Secretary/ Cost Accountant. (Equivalent to a Master’s degree in that discipline as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities).

Legal

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university/institute.

Information Technology

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any branch OR a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum two-year postgraduate qualification in computer science/computer application/information technology from a recognized university/institute.

Research

• Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years) in Economics/Commerce/Business Administration/Econometrics/Quantitative Economics/Financial Economics/Mathematical Economics/Business Economics/Agricultural Economics/Industrial Economics/Business Analytics; OR Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years) in Finance/Quantitative Finance/Mathematical Finance/Quantitative Techniques/International Finance/Business Finance/International and Trade Finance/Project and Infrastructure Finance/Agri. Business Finance; OR Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years) in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Statistics & Informatics/Applied Statistics & Informatics/Data Science/Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Big Data Analytics; OR Master’s Degree in Mathematics with one year post-graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects.

Official Language

• Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English as a subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level; OR Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/English/Economics/Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s Degree level; OR Master’s Degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation.

Engineering (Electrical)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Engineering (Civil)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Keep a copy of the submitted application for your records. Do not submit the printed application to SEBI unless instructed.
• Use the ‘Careers’ section to find the Recruitment Notification for Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) - 2025 and click on APPLY ONLINE.
• For registration, click NEW REGISTRATION, enter your details, and note the provisional registration number and password. An email and SMS with these details will be sent.
