Qualification framework

General eligibility

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from an Indian university or an accredited foreign university.
• National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR, or an equivalent qualification such as GSLET/GSET/SLET/SET, OR a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations.
• Candidates registered for a Ph.D. before 11 July 2009 may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET subject to conditions (regular-mode Ph.D., external examiner requirements, two research papers with at least one in a refereed journal, etc.).
• NET/SLET/SET not required for Master’s programs in disciplines where these tests are not conducted by UGC/CSIR/ACIICTE.
• A Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 in QS/The/The ARWU rankings is also accepted.

Application Fee

• General category candidates: Rs. 2,000 (non-refundable)
• Other category candidates: Rs. 1,500 (non-refundable)

Instructions

• SEBC candidates must submit a valid Non-Creamy-Layer certificate for the current financial year in the prescribed format.
• SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/PwBD candidates must submit the prescribed certificates as per state norms to avail reserved-category benefits.
• Foreign-degree holders must obtain an equivalence certificate from the AIU.
• Providing incorrect or incomplete information may lead to disqualification.
• Applicants for multiple posts must submit separate online applications, hardcopies, and fees for each post.
• Direct or indirect canvassing will lead to disqualification.
• Updates or amendments will be posted on the official university website only.
• For disputes, the territorial jurisdiction is Godhra.
• In-service candidates must provide an NOC or equivalent endorsement from their employer.
