Age Limit

The age limit is 45 years for General candidates. Relaxations are provided for Reserved Categories as follows: OBC - 3 years, SC/ST - 5 years, Persons with Disabilities - additional 5 years.

Educational Qualifications

• MBBS degree from a recognized university or institution.
• Postgraduate Degree, Diploma, or DNB in the relevant specialty.
• Valid registration with the Delhi Medical Council.
• Candidates who have applied for Delhi Medical Council registration must provide proof of application at the walk-in interview.
• The candidate must not have completed three years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution on a regular or ad-hoc basis.

Notes

• The vacancies are ad-hoc and provisional and may be increased or decreased. Four percent of posts are reserved for Persons with Disabilities according to applicable rules.

• Walk-in Interview Date: 24 September 2026
• Registration Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon
• Interview Venue: 4th Floor Conference Hall, Administrative Block, Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Mangolpuri, Delhi - 110083 Note: Entry will not be permitted after 12:00 noon. The dates and requirements are subject to change as notified by the hospital.

Application Fees

The official interview notice does not mention any application fee.

Interview and Documentation

• Candidates must report with original documents and self-attested copies.
• Bring a recent passport-size photograph and a document checklist in the order mentioned in the notification.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Selected candidates may be required to join within seven working days from the offer.
• The total Senior Residency period, including any prior tenure, shall not exceed three years.
• Candidates already in government service must produce an NOC from their employer.
