Eligibility Details

Laboratory Assistant cum Data Entry Operator

• Education: B.Sc. with working knowledge of computer
• Essential Qualifications: Science Graduation from a recognized university
• Experience: Handling computers and a CCC certificate
• Desirable: Data entry and data evaluation experience; experience in ICMR / DHR / CSIR / DBT projects or equivalent in medical institutes

Research Assistant

• Education: MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / M.Sc. in any Life Science subject
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a research setting
• Desirable: ICMR/DHR-funded healthcare costing projects

Field Investigator

• Education: B.Sc. Nursing / BPH / B.Pharm / MSW / B.Sc. Medical Science

General Information and Instructions

• The appointments are contractual and on a monthly consolidated pay basis for specified durations (11 months for Laboratory Assistant cum Data Entry Operator; 6 months for Research Assistant and Field Investigator, extendable based on performance).
• Candidates must register by 9:30 am on the day of interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.
• Suitable candidates from Government sectors may be required to provide a No Objection Certificate from their current employer.
• The appointee shall be under SMIMER/ MRU supervision with terms governed by the Department of Health Research (DHR), MoHFW, Government of India.
• The institute reserves the right to terminate or modify terms as per rules; employee shall not claim any regular appointment without due process.
• The selected candidates may be required to travel outside the city and stay overnight for the Research Assistant and Field Investigator posts.
