Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 50 years (as on 01-11-2025)

Eligibility Details

• Full-time apprenticeship in an approved marine workshop and simultaneous attendance at an approved engineering course in a technical school, with successful completion of the requisite examination for a Diploma.
• Or Apprentices from a Marine Workshop and a B.Tech (Marine) who are eligible to appear in the Class IV Part ‘A’ Engineer’s Examination of MOT, or candidates with equivalent training and experience from the Indian Navy.
• Or candidates retired from the Indian Navy as Petty Officer Marine Engineering. CHERA / CH MECH / POME will be eligible.
• Desirable: Sea-going experience with practical experience on Diesel Engines.
