Qualification

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognised university or institution (4-year degree).

Experience

• Nine years of experience in the relevant discipline in an executive cadre in an Industrial / Commercial / Government Undertaking.

Other

• For absorption through composite method: officers holding analogous posts or posts in the scale of pay Rs. 24900-50500 with 3 years regular service in the grade or Rs. 24900-50500 with 2 years regular service in the grade, with a combined regular service of 7 years in the specified scales in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
• For deputation: officers holding analogous posts or posts in the scale of pay Rs. 24900-50500 and above with 3 years regular service in the grade, in the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department in Govt. / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies. Selection is by merit; the benchmark in APARs should not be below “Very Good.”
