Eligibility Details

• The candidate must hold a Master’s Degree (minimum 55% marks or equivalent; First Class or equivalent preferred) in Physics from a UGC-recognized university or institute. A 4-year B.Sc. (Honours) or equivalent degree from a recognized university/institution may also be considered.
• Candidates with CSIR/UGC-NET/JEST/GATE are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English are required.
• The candidate should be well-versed in Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Physics, and Condensed Matter Physics at the Master’s level. Exposure to Classical Chaos and Nonlinear Dynamics is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Preference given to candidates with some programming experience in Fortran 95 / C++ / Python and familiarity with Mathematica.
