Age Limits

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 42 years (as on 01-01-2026)

Relaxations

• SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
• PwD (40% and above): 10 years
• PwD belonging to SC/ST/SEBC: 15 years

Educational Qualification

• Librarian: Bachelor Degree in Library Science or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.

Nationality and Domicile

• Candidate must be a citizen of India and a domicile of the State of Odisha.

Language Proficiency

• Must be able to read, write, and speak Odia and have passed Odia as a language subject in H.S.C. or an equivalent (or ME-standard Odia test).

Additional Conditions

• Candidates with qualifications from outside Odisha must provide equivalence/affiliation certificates.
• Government servants (temporary or permanent) must produce a No Objection Certificate from their employer before document verification.
