Age Details

• Normal age limits: 20-25 years (Delhi Police SI/CAPFs GD) and 18-30 years (CISF Fire).
• Age is reckoned as on 01.08.2026.
• Age relaxations as per government rules apply for specified categories (SC/ST, OBC, ESM, etc.).

Educational Qualifications

• SI in Delhi Police / SI (GD) in CAPFs: Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent. Candidates awaiting final results may apply but must possess the qualification by the closing date.
• SI (Fire) in CISF: Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised university or equivalent; OR Matriculation plus a 3-year diploma in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Automobile/Chemical/Mining/Aeronautical/Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent. A higher qualification (B.Tech/M.Tech) is considered as value addition, subject to the basic diploma being held.
• For SI in Delhi Police, male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). Male candidates without a valid LMV licence are eligible only for SI posts in CAPFs, not Delhi Police.

Age Limits

• All posts except SI (Fire) in CISF: 20-25 years (born not earlier than 02.08.2001 and not later than 01.08.2006).
• SI (Fire) in CISF: 18-30 years (born not earlier than 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2008).

Relaxations

Application Fee

• Fee: ₹100.
• Exemptions: Women candidates, and candidates belonging to SC, ST, and eligible Ex-Servicemen are exempt from payment.
• Payment methods: Online (BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Debit Card).
• Fee payment closes on 01.10.2026 (23:00 hrs).
• Fee once paid is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
• Application Form Correction Window (08.10.2026 to 10.10.2026): ₹200 for the first correction, ₹500 for the second correction (charged to all candidates).

Important Instructions

• The Commission does not allocate vacancies state-wise or region-wise.

• After the correction window closes, changes are not allowed.
• Candidates may choose up to three examination centres within the same SSC region; centre change requests are not entertained later.
