Minimum Age: 18 Years. Maximum Age: 32 Years for CPWD & CWC Post Only. Maximum Age: 30 Years for all other posts. Age relaxation is applicable as per SSC rules.. Age relaxation as per the rules.

Eligibility

Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech Degree in a related trade OR a Diploma in a related trade with 2 years of experience. Specific eligibility varies by department: Border Road Organization BRO (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical), Brahmaputra Board of Ministry of Jal Shakti (Civil), Central Public Works Department CPWD (Civil / Electrical), Central Water and Power Research Station (Civil / Mechanical), Central Water Commission CWC (Civil / Electrical), Directorate of Quality Assurance Naval (Electrical / Mechanical), Farkka Barrage Project (Civil / Electrical), Military Engineer Services (MES) (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical), National Technical Research Organization (NTRO) (Civil).

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination 2025. How to Apply

SSC has implemented a one-time registration (OTR) process on its new website, SSC.GOV.IN. Candidates must complete OTR registration before applying for any recruitment. A significant change in the application process is the requirement for a live photo upload via webcam or the official SSC App. Candidates must ensure they look straight ahead in the photo and that the background is light/white. Before submitting the application, candidates should carefully review all entered information. Payment of the application fee is mandatory for form completion. After submission, candidates should print the final form for their records.
