Eligibility Details

Professor

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
• Minimum 55% marks at Master’s level and a strong academic record
• At least 10 publications and significant research experience; proven doctoral guidance
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience at university/college level with evidence of educational innovation

Associate Professor

• Ph.D. in the concerned/allied discipline
• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks
• Minimum eight years of teaching/research experience with evidence of publications (at least 5 books/papers)
• Demonstrated contribution to educational innovation and curriculum design

Assistant Professor

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in a relevant subject (or equivalent) from an Indian university or foreign equivalent
• NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D. as per UGC regulations (or exemptions where applicable)
• For disciplines where NET/SLET/SET is not conducted, the qualification requirements may differ as per UGC guidelines

Assistant Librarian

• Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks
• Knowledge of library automation and NET/CSIR or similar qualification as per UGC guidelines

Application Fee

• General: ₹2000
• SC/ST/OBC/PwD: ₹1000
• Payment Mode: Online via NEFT/RTGS, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI
• Note: Fee receipt must be attached with the application form. The fee is non-refundable.

• For candidates already employed, submit through proper channel or attach a copy of the application submitted to the employer. An NOC may be required at the time of interview.
• Send the completed application form to the Registrar, Soban Singh Jeena University, Almora, Uttarakhand 263601 via Speed Post.
• Ensure the application reaches before the last date: 02 March 2026 (05 PM).
• retain a photocopy for future reference.
