• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent) in any discipline from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Qualified NET/SET/SLET or CSIR recognition as applicable, or a Ph.D. degree exempting NET/SET/SLET under UGC regulations.
• For candidates with Ph.D., exemptions from NET/SET/SLET may apply under the relevant regulations.
• Ph.D. candidates registered prior to July 11, 2009, may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET if certain conditions are met (as per UGC guidelines).
• Essential teaching/training experience (as applicable) under government schemes or in recognized institutions.
