Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 44 years
• Age considered as on 01/07/2026

Age Relaxation

• Telangana state government employees: up to 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: up to 3 years plus length of service
• NCC Instructors: up to 3 years plus length of service
• SC/ST/BC/EWS: up to 5 years
• PwD: up to 10 years

Note: The superannuation age is 61 years; relaxation does not apply beyond that limit.

Educational Qualifications

• Postgraduate (PG) degree in the relevant subject with not less than 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled) from a UGC-recognised university.
• M.Ed. degree with not less than 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled) from an NCTE-recognised institution, with the appropriate teaching methodology in B.Ed. for language and science-related posts.

Medium-based Eligibility

For posts requiring Urdu or Telugu medium eligibility, candidates must have studied that language as a medium at the required level or have passed SSC/Intermediate/Degree in that medium.

Allied Subject Eligibility

Allied subjects (e.g., Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Geoinformatics, etc.) are accepted as per Annexure-I of G.O. Ms. No. 11 (School Education Department).

Notes

• For the Physical Education post, only a PG in Physical Education is required.
• All qualifications must be completed and results declared by 18/06/2026 (notification date).

Fee Structure

• Application Processing Fee: OC/BC candidates Rs. 1,000; SC/ST/PwD candidates Rs. 500
• Examination Fee: Rs. 120 for all categories; unemployed candidates are exempted from the examination fee
• Note: Government/PSU/Corporation employees must pay the examination fee. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
