Age limit

• Age should be preferably below 35 years as on 01 July 2025.

Educational Qualifications

• Essential: Master’s Degree in Physics or a related discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Alternative essential: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 65% marks.

Desirable qualifications

• Physics route: M.Sc. coursework with courses in atomic physics and quantum optics.
• Engineering route: B.Tech./B.E. coursework in electronics, electrical, analog & digital systems, microprocessors or optics.
• Desirable: Qualified in any national level test such as GATE, NET, JEST, TIFR, etc.
• Experience: Some hands-on experience in electronics, microprocessors, or optics is desirable.

General Information
