Work Assistant (Auxiliary) - 3 Posts (1 OBC, 2 EWS)

• Essential Qualification: S.S.C. or equivalent; minimum one year experience in a reputed canteen/catering establishment
• Desirable Qualification: Minimum one-year certificate course in Food and Beverage service from a recognized Hotel Management Institute or equivalent; minimum one year experience in multitasking roles in hotel/catering environments

Work Assistant (Technical) [Fitter] - 1 Post (Unreserved)

• Essential Qualification: S.S.C. or equivalent; National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Fitter Trade
• Essential Experience: One year in the field; familiarity with MS Windows and public buildings; ability to assist senior technicians

Project Scientific Assistant (B) - 1 Post (Unreserved)

• Essential Qualification: Full-time Science Graduate with 60% marks in Physics/Engineering Physics/Electronics/Radio-physics or Full-time Diploma in Engineering with 60% marks in Electronics/Electrical/ECE/EEE/Instrumentation/Opto-electronics
• Essential Skills: Computer literacy; 0-2 years in analog/digital electronics, PCB design, soldering
• Desirable: Hands-on experience with electronics, LabVIEW, lasers, and related systems; higher qualifications may apply

Project Tradesman (B) [Electrician] - 1 Post (Unreserved)

• Essential Qualification & Experience: NCVT/NAC in Electrician with 60% marks; two years (or one year with NAC) field experience; strong wiring and electrical knowledge
• Desirable: Experience with data networks, cabling, testing, and related tools

Project Physical Instructor - 1 Post (Unreserved)

• Essential Qualification & Experience: H.S.C. or degree; CPR & First Aid certification; 1-2 years as a gym/fitness instructor; knowledge of exercise planning and injury prevention
• Desirable: Strong communication, motivation, and adaptability to diverse populations

General Information and Instructions

• All posts are tenable at TIFR, Colaba, Mumbai.
• Posts 1 and 2 may involve transfer to other centers/field stations.
• Higher starting salary may be considered for posts 1 & 2.
• Posts 3, 4, and 5 are temporary and may be renewed yearly up to three years based on performance.
• Selected candidates may be required to work on weekends and holidays and in rotating shifts.
• Age relaxations apply as per applicable rules.
