Age Limits

• All categories: Minimum age 18 years.

• SC / ST / SCA / BC / BCM / MBC & DNC: No maximum age limit, with a note that candidates should not have completed 60 years as on 01.07.2025 at the time of selection/appointment.

• OC candidates: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 32 years.

• OC - Differently Abled: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 42 years.

• OC - Ex-Servicemen: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 48 years.

• Destitute Widow: Minimum 18 years and No Maximum Age Limit.

• Differently Abled candidates may avail age concession up to ten years over the prescribed limits.

Educational Qualification

• A 2 ½ years diploma course in Nursing Therapy awarded by either the Chairman, Board of Examination, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Government of Tamil Nadu or the Secretary, Governing Council, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Chennai, Government of Tamil Nadu.
