Age Details

• General Open/Unreserved: 18-40 years (as of 18/05/2026).
• Divyang (PH), Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer), Sportspersons, Ex-Servicemen, and Part-time employees: age relaxations as per state rules.
• Creamy Layer candidates (VJ-A, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, SBC, SEBC, EWS) are not eligible for certain relaxations.

Educational Qualification

SSC / 10th Standard

• Must have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC / 10th Standard) examination from a recognized board.
• The qualification must be acquired on or before the date of advertisement (27/04/2026).

Nationality and Domicile

• Indian national.
• Domicile of Maharashtra required. Residents of 865 Marathi-speaking villages in the Maharashtra-Karnataka border area may also apply with valid domicile certificate.

Other Eligibility

• Final selection based on merit in the online examination; other service rules apply as per Maharashtra government norms.

• Examination centers are district headquarters across Maharashtra and may be changed.
• A scribe facility (Lekhanik) is available for eligible candidates and must be declared in the application; the scribe cannot be a candidate in the same examination.
• Probity: false information or malpractice may result in cancellation and legal action.
• Reservation benefits are available only to eligible Maharashtra residents with valid certificates.
• For Women reservation, a valid Maharashtra domicile certificate is required; Non-Creamy Layer relaxation for open category women posts has been waived as per GR dated 04 May 2023.
• EWS certificates must be produced at document verification in prescribed format.
