Age Details

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years
• The age is calculated as on 01-08-2026.
• Candidates must be born between 02-08-2001 and 01-08-2006 (inclusive).

Eligibility Details

Nationality

• Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Subjects of Nepal and Bhutan are eligible under certain conditions.
• No person who is not a citizen of India shall be appointed without the consent of the Central Government.

Age Relaxation (Category-wise)

• General / EWS: No relaxation (up to 25 years)
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): +3 years (up to 28 years)
• SC / ST: +5 years (up to 30 years)
• J&K Domiciled Candidates: +5 years (up to 30 years)
• Ex-Servicemen (Commissioned Officers): +5 years (up to 30 years)
• Civilian Central Government Servants: +5 years (up to 30 years)
• Defence Personnel (Disabled in Operations): +3 years (up to 28 years)

Note: Candidates from SC/ST or OBC categories who also qualify under other relaxation groups can claim cumulative relaxation.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Final-year students awaiting results are eligible to apply, but must provide proof of passing when submitting the Detailed Application Form (DAF).
• No minimum percentage is required.

Gender

• Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

Marital Status

• No specific marital status criteria are prescribed.

Application Fees

• The selection process includes three stages: Written Examination, PET/PST & Medical Test, and Interview/Personality Test (150 marks).
• The written examination comprises Paper I (250 marks, 2 hours) and Paper II (200 marks, 3 hours).
