Age limits

• Minimum age: 21 years as on 01 July of the year of advertisement.
• Maximum age: 40 years as on 01 July of the year of advertisement.

Relaxations are as per UP Government rules for reserved categories and specified groups.

Eligibility details

PET prerequisite

• Candidates must have appeared in UPSSSC PET-2025 and possess a PET-2025 Score Card. Candidates with zero/negative/absent PET-2025 scores are not eligible.

Educational qualifications (vary by post)

• Most posts require a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) and an ‘O’ Level Computer Diploma.
• Some posts allow a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy in lieu of or in addition to the B.Com, as per the relevant service rules.
• Specific department rules apply; refer to the official notification for exact qualifications per post.

Other eligibility aspects

• Indian citizenship; UP domicile requirements apply for reservation benefits; NOC requirements for government employees; EWS, PwBD, and other reservations as prescribed.
• Educational qualifications must be possessed by the closing date of applications (03-08-2026).

Note: There is no additional application fee for any category; the Main Examination fee is charged separately from shortlisted candidates before the Admit Card is issued.

Important instructions and notes

• Online applications are open from 14-07-2026 to 03-08-2026. Fee reconciliation and application amendment window closes on 10-08-2026.
• Only one online application should be submitted. If multiple applications are submitted for the same post, only the last one will be considered.
• The application form can be amended only for permitted fields up to 10-08-2026.
• After payment and reconciliation, the application is automatically submitted. Candidates should download and print the submitted form for Document Verification.
• Log in using PET-2025 Registration Number and OTP; personal details will be auto-populated from PET-2025 data and can be updated only in permitted fields.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature. The Commission does not correspond personally with candidates; updates are published on the official website.
• The exam will be conducted as per UP Government orders, including provisions of the UP Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.
