UPTET 2026 OTR Registration: Direct Apply Online, Last Date & Step-by-Step Process

Eligibility Details

Primary Level (Paper 1 - Classes 1 to 5)

• Senior Secondary (10+2) with minimum 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed (passed or appearing) OR Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed (as per NCTE norms) or equivalent.

Upper Primary Level (Paper 2 - Classes 6 to 8)

• Graduation with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed / 2-year BTC (passed or appearing) OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks + 4-year B.L.Ed / B.Sc.Ed or equivalent as per NCTE norms.

Note: Relaxation in qualifying marks is applicable for reserved categories. Candidates can apply for both papers if they meet the eligibility requirements.

• OTR & Online Application Start: 27 March 2026
• Last Date for Registration & Fee Payment: 26 April 2026
• Last Date for Application Correction: 01 May 2026
• Admit Card Release: 30 June 2026
• UPTET Exam Date: 02, 03 & 04 July 2026

Application Fees

• General / OBC / EWS: One Paper ₹1000, Both Papers ₹2000
• SC / ST: One Paper ₹500, Both Papers ₹1000
• Divyang (PH): One Paper ₹300, Both Papers ₹600

Additional Information

• OTR is mandatory before submitting the UPTET application. Generate a unique OTR ID and use it to fill the application form.
• Keep Aadhaar ready for verification and document uploads.
• Ensure you select the appropriate paper(s) and fill educational details accurately; fees must be paid online.
