Eligibility Details

Essential Qualifications

• Must hold a Certificate of Competency as Master of Foreign Going Ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the same Ministry.
• At least one year of post-qualification experience as Master or Chief Officer of a foreign-going ship.

Age and Other Conditions

• Age must be up to 40 years as of 04/02/2026, with age relaxation for SC/ST as per applicable rules.
• All qualifications should be recognized and approved in India by AICTE/UGC or other appropriate statutory/competent authorities.
