Age Limit

• Maximum age limit: 40 years as on 01-01-2024
• Age relaxations: SC/ST candidates get 5 years; OBC (A&B) candidates (West Bengal) get 3 years.

Educational Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Textile Technology or Handloom Technology from a recognized university or institute.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a responsible position within the textile industry.
• Proficiency in Bengali (spoken and written).

Desirable/Additional Criteria

• Working knowledge of relevant textile sectors (handloom, spinning mills, silk weaving, and handloom-based handicrafts) as applicable to the district allotment.
