• A degree or diploma in Librarianship from a recognized university/institution.
• Desirable: Three years of experience in library work in a public or institutional library of repute.
• Desirable: Experience in office administration.

• Maximum age limit: 36 years (as on 01-01-2026).
• Relaxation as per government rules: up to 5 years for SC/ST; up to 3 years for OBC (A & B non-creamy layer); up to 45 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (40% and above).
