  • Maximum age: 30 years for UR/EWS
  • Age relaxations as per category apply (OBC, SC/ST, PwBD, ESM) as per Government rules.

Eligibility

Educational Qualifications

  • Mining Sirdar, T&S Grade-C: (a) Valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS, along with a Gas Testing Certificate, First-Aid Certificate, and 3 years of underground mining experience; OR (b) Diploma in Mining Engineering from a government-recognized institute, with a valid Overman competency certificate (DGMS), Gas Testing Certificate, and First-Aid Certificate.
  • Assistant Foreman (Trainee) (Electrical)/Electrical Supervisor, T&S Grade-C: Diploma (minimum 3-year course) in Electrical Engineering from a government-recognized institute, and a valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate for Mines issued by the Appropriate Government.
  • Candidates with other equivalent qualifications approved by the Central Government, or higher qualifications in the respective discipline, are also eligible.
  • For Mining Sirdar, candidates with higher statutory competency certificates issued by DGMS are also eligible.
  • Degree/Postgraduate/Diploma qualifications acquired through distance learning/part-time mode (or their equivalent) will not be considered.
  • Since these vacancies are for both UG and OC mines, candidates holding restricted competency certificates are not eligible.
  • All qualifications must be recognized by AICTE/UGC/appropriate Indian Statutory Authorities.

  • UR/OBC (NCL)/EWS: ₹1,180 (₹1,000 + GST ₹180)
  • SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/Departmental Candidates: Nil
  • Fee is non-refundable and must be paid online. Applications without the prescribed fee (where applicable) will be rejected.

How to Apply

Additional Instructions

  • Test cities are chosen by candidates at the time of application and may be changed by WCL.
  • Qualifications obtained via distance learning/part-time modes are not considered unless specified.
  • Caste/category certificates must be in Hindi or English. EWS certificates must reflect the income criteria as per DoPT norms.
  • Ex-Servicemen may have specific reservation/benefit details; verify eligibility.
  • For document verification, candidates must carry original certificates and a No Objection Certificate if currently employed in government/PSU/autonomous bodies.
  • Selected candidates may be posted to any UG or OC mine within WCL and could be transferred during service.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for CBT, document verification, or joining.
  • English version of the Employment Notification prevails in case of any ambiguity.
