Eligibility Details

• Subject Matter Specialist (Food Science & Technology): Ph.D. in the relevant subject, or an M.Sc. with at least 55% marks at the Master’s level. SC/ST candidates may receive a relaxation of up to 5% (i.e., 50% at Master’s level). NET qualification is required along with one publication in a NAAS-rated journal for Master’s degree holders.
• Subject Matter Specialist (Vegetable Science): Ph.D. in the relevant subject, or an M.Sc. with at least 55% marks at the Master’s level. SC/ST relaxation: 5% (50% at Master’s level). NET required with one NAAS-rated journal publication.
• Subject Matter Specialist (Entomology): Ph.D. in the relevant subject, or an M.Sc. with at least 55% marks at the Master’s level. SC/ST relaxation: 5% (50% at Master’s level). NET required with one NAAS-rated journal publication.
• Subject Matter Specialist (Soil Science): Ph.D. in the relevant subject, or an M.Sc. with at least 55% marks at the Master’s level. SC/ST relaxation: 5% (50% at Master’s level). NET required with one NAAS-rated journal publication.
• Subject Matter Specialist (Fruit Science): Ph.D. in the relevant subject, or an M.Sc. with at least 55% marks at the Master’s level. SC/ST relaxation: 5% (50% at Master’s level). NET required with one NAAS-rated journal publication.
• Subject Matter Specialist (Agroforestry): Ph.D. in the relevant subject, or an M.Sc. with at least 55% marks at the Master’s level. SC/ST relaxation: 5% (50% at Master’s level). NET required with one NAAS-rated journal publication.
• Subject Matter Specialist (Extension Education/Agricultural Extension): Ph.D. in the relevant subject, or an M.Sc. with at least 55% marks at the Master’s level. SC/ST relaxation: 5% (50% at Master’s level). NET required with one NAAS-rated journal publication.
