Age Limits

• General category: up to 40 years
• Categories 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B: up to 43 years

Age Relaxations

• Ex-servicemen: military service plus 3 years
• PwD, widows, or bonded laborers: up to 10 years (with certificate)

Karavasooligar (Bill Collector)

• Passed 12th standard (PUC) with Kannada as one language across any board (CBSE/ICSE or state boards also acceptable provided Kannada is one language).
• Alternatively, a 12th standard qualification with Kannada as one language from any recognized board.
• A computer training course certificate of at least 3 months duration, recognized by the Central or State Government (endorsement by a Government-recognised certificate is required for private institutions).

Clerk-cum-Data Entry Operator

• Passing 12th standard / an equivalent NIOS course with Kannada as one language.
• A computer training course certificate of at least 6 months duration, recognized by the Central or State Government (private certificates acceptable only if endorsed with a Government-recognised certificate).
• Merit will be calculated with 50% weight for qualifying exam marks and 50% weight for the computer proficiency test.

Merit calculations consider 1a-1f qualifications for Karavasooligar and the combined 50/50 weight for Data Entry Operator as detailed in the official notification.
