Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 45 years (as on the crucial date). No age relaxation is available for reserved-category candidates applying against unreserved vacancies. The applicable age relaxation, if any, will follow Government norms with documentary proof.

Eligibility Overview

• Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule, or Part II of the third schedule, of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (candidates with Part II third schedule qualifications must also fulfil Section 13(3)).
• Must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
• Postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) as per MCI rules in the relevant specialty, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institute.
• Candidates must hold a valid qualification as on the last date for receipt of applications.

Department-wise Postgraduate Qualification Requirements

• Cardiology, Medical Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology: MD/DNB in General Medicine.
• Burns & Plastic Surgery: MS/DNB in General Surgery.
• CTVS, Neurosurgery, Pediatric Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology, Urology: MS/DNB in General Surgery.
• Neonatology: MD/DNB in Paediatrics.
• Trauma & Emergency: MD/DNB in Medicine or MS in General Surgery or an allied subject; Orthopedics.
• Pulmonary Medicine: MD/DNB in General Medicine or Pulmonary Medicine.

Dual (Medical/Non-Medical) Eligibility Departments

For the following departments, candidates may apply through either the medical or the non-medical route:

• Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Clinical Immunology, Endocrinology
• Medical candidates require MD/DNB in the specified medical field; Non-Medical candidates require a related MSc/PhD in the subject and related qualifications.

• All Other Categories: Rs. 1000 plus 18% GST (total Rs. 1,180).
• The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid via NEFT. Proof of payment must be uploaded and produced at the time of the interview.

Important Instructions

• There is no online application process for these posts; eligible candidates must report in person with required documents.
• A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employers is required if the candidate is employed in Central/State Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Institutions.
