Age Limit

The upper age limit is 28 years as on the date of the walk-in interview. Relaxations are applicable as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC.

Eligibility by Discipline

Computer Science & Engineering

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering in first division with a valid GATE qualification, OR M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering in first division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.

Mechanical Engineering

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in first division with a valid GATE qualification, OR ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in first division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.

Chemical Engineering / Rubber Technology / Polymer Technology / Nanotechnology / Materials Science

BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Rubber Technology, Polymer Technology, Nanotechnology, or Materials Science in first division with a valid GATE qualification, OR ME/M.Tech in the same fields in first division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.

Opto Electronics

BE/B.Tech in Opto Electronics in first division with a valid GATE qualification, OR ME/M.Tech in Opto Electronics in first division at both graduate and post-graduate levels, OR BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engg/Electronics & Communication Engg with relevant fibre optics/optoelectronics/laser papers in first division with a valid GATE qualification.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering

BE/B.Tech in these fields in first division with a valid GATE qualification, OR ME/M.Tech in these fields in first division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.

Physics

Postgraduate degree in Basic Science related to the subject in first division with valid NET/GATE qualification.

Oceanography / Ocean Technology / Meteorology

Postgraduate degree in Basic Science related to the subject in first division with valid NET/GATE qualification, OR ME/M.Tech in Oceanography/Ocean Technology/Meteorology in first division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.

Important Instructions

• There is no online application process. Eligible candidates must appear for the walk-in interview at Bhavan's Varuna Vidyalaya, Kochi with all original certificates/testimonials, a valid GATE/NET score card, and a set of self-attested copies.
• Bring an original photo ID proof and one recent colour passport-size photograph.
• Candidates may optionally email a one-page biodata in advance to aid administrative arrangements.
