Age Limit

• Maximum age: 50 years
• Age relaxations as applicable per government rules (noted in the official notification).

Additional Professor

• Medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
• Postgraduate qualification MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline.
• M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and D.M. for Medical Super specialties (2, 3, 5, or 6 years recognized course) or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: Ten years of teaching and/or research experience after MD/MS or equivalent, OR Eight years after D.M./M.Ch., OR Seven years after D.M./M.Ch. with specified degrees.

Associate Professor

• Medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
• Postgraduate qualification MD/MS or a recognized equivalent in the respective discipline.
• M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and D.M. for Medical Super specialties (2, 3, 5, or 6 years recognized course) or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: Six years of teaching and/or research after MD/MS or equivalent, OR Four years after D.M./M.Ch., OR Three years after D.M./M.Ch. with specified degrees.

• EWS: Rs. 2400
