Eligibility

Refer to the PGAT-2026 Information Bulletin available on the university website for detailed eligibility criteria. Minor changes have been made to eligibility and admission rules this year.

Key Points

• 15% SC, 7.5% ST, 27% OBC, 10% EWS reservations as per GoI norms.
• 5% PwD and 2% Sports quota (fitness test compulsory for Sports quota).
• NCC weightage & Sports Quota are not applicable for B.Ed., M.Ed., MBA & MBA(RD).
• M.Sc. Agriculture Botany renamed to M.Sc. Agricultural Microbiology.
• Foreign Nationals apply separately (no PGAT required).

PGAT-I

• UR/EWS/OBC: Rs. 1,000
• SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 500

PGAT-II

• UR/EWS/OBC: Rs. 1,600
• SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 800
