Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 45 years (subject to relaxations)
• Base upper age limit for general consideration is 38 years, with category-wise relaxations as specified. The maximum permissible age under all relaxations shall not exceed 45 years.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a University established under Central or State Act in India, or from an Institution recognized or declared as a Deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.

Work Experience

• At least 3 years of combined or separate administrative cadre experience in one or more of the following: government/local self-government institutions, government undertakings, semi-government bodies, boards, corporations, municipal corporations, or companies registered under the Companies Act 1956/2013; cooperative societies registered under the Co-operative Societies Act 2012.
• Experience must be in a regular pay scale (direct recruitment or fixed pay scheme). Part-time, daily wage, apprenticeship, trainee, or study-period experience is not counted. An offer letter or appointment letter alone is not sufficient; supporting documents (e.g., increment orders, pay slips) must accompany.

Computer Knowledge (CCC/CCC+)

• A certificate of Basic Computer Knowledge as per the Gujarat State General Administration Department syllabus, or a recognized Diploma/Degree/Certificate in computer knowledge, or studied Computer as a subject in Class 10/12. Candidates without the certificate at the time of application may apply but must obtain CCC (for Class 3 posts) or CCC+ (for Class 1/2) before joining. If joining without it, they must complete the certificate within one year of joining.
