• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in any subject from Indian universities or equivalent foreign degree.
• NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC regulations 2009/2016 (with exemptions and conditions).
• Desirable: Qualified UPSC Civil Services (Prelims/Mains).
• Candidates with a Ph.D. from a top-500 foreign university as per QS, THE, or ARWU rankings are exempted from the NET requirement, subject to applicable conditions.
