Eligibility

• Graduate in law (3 years/5 years full-time regular course) from a university recognised by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
• Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council.
• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification professional experience as a practicing lawyer and/or with a law firm and/or as a law officer in any bank/financial institution or reputed organization, or as a judicial officer. The experience can be cumulative.
• The candidate must be well conversant with the local language and English.

• Applications in the STANDARD FORM of Application as published in the Assam Gazette are invited for the post of Legal Officer (Contractual) at the Head Office, Panbazar, Guwahati.
• Submit complete bio-data along with two passport-size photographs and attested copies of all testimonials.
• Enclose the application in a sealed envelope marked: “Application for the Post of LEGAL OFFICER (Contractual)” and send by speed/ordinary post or courier to the Head Office within 20 days from the date of publication, or drop the application in the designated box in the Administration Department.
