Educational Qualifications

Non-Teaching Posts

• Coordinator Grade-I: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks; nine years’ experience as Assistant Professor at Academic Level 10 and above with educational administration experience, or five years’ administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent. Desirable: experience in Establishment/Examinations/Finance.
• Assistant Librarian: Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or equivalent with at least 55% marks; proven record with knowledge of library computerization; NET (UGC/CSIR) or SLET/SET, or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016, with exemptions as applicable.
• System Analyst: First class M.E./M.Tech. (CSE/IT) or MCA/M.Sc. (CSE/IT); OR First class B.E./B.Tech. (CSE/IT) with two years’ relevant experience. Desirable: CCNA/CCNP or equivalent.
• Library Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent; 30 WPM typing speed in English; knowledge of computer applications.

Teaching Posts

• Professor (Economics, Human Rights, Public Administration, Demographic Studies): Ph.D., 10 research publications, and a total research score of 120 per UGC 2018 norms, with 10 years’ teaching/research experience and guidance of doctoral candidates; or an outstanding professional with a Ph.D. and 10 years’ relevant experience.
• Professor - Law: LL.M. and Ph.D. in Law, with UGC 2018 norms for Professors.
• Professor - Civil/Electronics & Communication Engineering: Ph.D. in the relevant field with first-class in Bachelors/Masters; minimum 10 years’ teaching/research/industry experience (at least 3 years as Associate Professor); 6 SCI/UGC/AICTE publications or 10 publications.
• Associate Professor (Human Development & Family Studies, Hindi): Ph.D. in the discipline; Master’s with 55% marks; 8 years’ teaching/research with 7 peer-reviewed publications and a research score of 75.
• Assistant Professor (English, Education, Curriculum & Pedagogic subjects, etc.): Master’s with 55% marks and NET/SLET/SET (or Ph.D. exemption as per UGC); specific subjects may require additional qualifications as per UGC guidelines.
• Professor-cum-Resident Director: Eligibility as Professor plus 3 years of administrative experience for direct recruitment; for deputation, holding an analogous Academic Level-14 post or ≥3 years in Academic Level-13A as Associate Professor or equivalent.
• Associate Professor-cum-Deputy Director (CSSI): Ph.D. in any Social Science; Master’s with 55% marks; 8 years’ relevant experience with 7 publications and a 75 score.
• Assistant Professor-cum-Assistant Director (CSSI): Master’s in Social Science with 55% marks and NET/SLET/SET (or Ph.D. exemption per UGC norms), or Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 globally.
