Age Details

• Grade II (Engineer): up to 29 years
• Grades III to X: up to 57 years depending on the post
• Age relaxation: SC/ST 5 years; OBC (NCL) 3 years; PwD up to an additional 10 years (minimum 40% disability)
• For Position Code 102 (Head Armoured Business), the maximum age is 58 years.

Eligibility Details

Education (minimum qualification)

• Various posts require a First Class Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, or related Engineering disciplines. Some positions specify additional qualifications such as M.Tech/MS, or specialized domains.
• Post-graduation qualifications are applicable for certain grades (e.g., M.Tech in R&D, design, or related fields).
• For specific posts, candidates may be required to possess experience in rail, manufacturing, or defense sectors as indicated in the official notification.
• Candidates may apply for only one position, and degree equivalents must meet university norms and conversion requirements where applicable.

Notes

• A degree in allied branches of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics may also qualify for relevant posts if PQE requirements are met.
• Only Indian nationals may apply.
