Teacher Eligibility Criteria

This document outlines the eligibility requirements for various teaching positions.

Primary School Teacher (Class 1-5)

• Intermediate with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• OR Intermediate with 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE Norms 2002)
• OR Intermediate with 50% marks and a 4-year B.L.Ed Course
• OR Intermediate with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special)
• OR Graduation Degree in any stream with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• CTET/BTET Paper I Exam Passed is required.

Middle School Teacher (Class 6-8)

• Graduation Degree with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• OR Graduation/Post Graduation Degree with 50% marks and a B.Ed
• OR Graduation Degree with 45% marks and a B.Ed (NCTE Norms)
• OR Graduation Degree with 50% marks and BAEd/B.Sc Ed
• OR Graduation Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed Special
• OR Post Graduation Degree with 55% marks and a 3-year B.Ed-M.Ed Course.
• CTET/BTET Paper II Exam Passed is required.

TGT Teacher (Class 9-10)

• Graduation/Post Graduation Degree in a related subject with a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed Degree
• OR Graduation/Post Graduation Degree in a related subject with a minimum of 45% marks (as per 2002 Norms) and a B.Ed Degree
• OR a 4-year Degree in BAEd/BScEd.
• STET Paper I Exam Passed is required.

PGT Teacher (Class 11-12)

• Post Graduation Degree in a related subject with a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed Degree
• OR Post Graduation Degree in a related subject with a minimum of 45% marks (as per 2002 Norms) and a B.Ed Degree
• OR Post Graduation Degree in a related subject with a 4-year Degree in BAEd/BScEd
• OR Post Graduation Degree with 55% marks and a B.Ed-M.Ed 3-year Degree.
• STET Paper II Exam Passed is required.
