Age limits

• Primary Teacher / Middle School Teacher: 18-37 years
• Secondary Teacher / Senior Secondary Teacher: 21-37 years

Age reckoning date: 01.01.2026. Relaxations per Bihar Government rules for reserved categories.

Primary Teacher (Classes 1-5)

• 12th Pass + D.Ed/JBT/B.El.Ed + CTET/BTET Paper-I

Middle School Teacher (Classes 6-8)

• Graduate + B.Ed/B.El.Ed + CTET/BTET Paper-II

Secondary Teacher (Classes 9-10)

• Graduate + B.Ed/B.El.Ed + STET Paper-I

Senior Secondary Teacher (Classes 11-12)

• Post Graduate + B.Ed/B.El.Ed + STET Paper-II

• Candidates should hold a valid CTET or STET certificate for the respective paper corresponding to the post applied for.
