Age Limits

Minimum age: 18 years. Maximum age: 25 years as on 01-01-2027.

• Candidates born between 01-01-2002 and 01-01-2009 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.
• Candidates born on or before 31-12-2001 are not eligible.
• No age relaxation is permissible for any community.

Educational Qualifications by Pay Level

• Pay Level 5: A degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Pay Level 2: 12th standard (+2) from a recognized Board/University.
• Pay Level 1: 10th pass or ITI (or equivalent) from a recognized Board or NAC (NCVT).

Sports Qualifications

• Only sportspersons with the required sports qualifications/achievements are eligible. Sports norms vary by level and discipline as specified in the official notification.

• Opening Date of Online Application: 12-09-2026
• Closing Date (fee payment, document upload & submission): 12-10-2026
• Cut-off Date for Age: 01-01-2027
• Cut-off Date for Sports Eligibility: Championships/events on or after 01-04-2024
• Trial/Document Verification Date: Not specified in the notification; will be intimated to candidates

Application Fee

• General: ₹400
• SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Minorities/EBC: ₹250

Notes:

• Fee is refundable only to candidates who actually appear in the trial.
• Fee must be deposited to the BLW SBI account before the closing date. After payment, candidates must log in again to complete the application and print the form.

Important Instructions

• Indian sportspersons with the required sports qualification are eligible; separate applications (and fees) are required for each discipline/game.
• There is no reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS in these posts; fee concessions require the prescribed caste/community certificate.
• Merely registering online does not guarantee eligibility; ensure all documents are accurate.
• Candidates must carry original documents and self-attested copies for the trial/assessment; discrepancies may lead to rejection.
• BLW reserves the right to cancel or postpone trials and to modify recruitment terms as per extant rules. No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided for trials.
• If found false/inaccurate information at any stage, candidature may be cancelled. Disputes are subject to Allahabad jurisdiction.
• A Service Bond of 5 years is applicable for selected candidates; a 2-year probation period will be observed.

Selection notes

• Selection is by screening, document verification, and sports trials, followed by assessment of sports achievements and educational qualifications. Final merit is computed out of 100 marks with a minimum qualifying score varying by Pay Level.
• Younger candidates may be given preference if marks are equal.

• Date of Birth proof, Educational Qualification certificate, Sports achievement certificate, Caste certificate (if applicable), NOC (if employed), Aadhaar, fee receipt, and other supporting documents.
