Age limits (as on 01-01-2025)

• Minimum age: 20 years for Social Worker, NRC Attendant, and Cook cum Caretaker; 21 years for Nutritionist.
• Maximum age: 40 years for all posts. Age relaxation as per government norms for reserved categories.

Eligibility by post

• Nutritionist: B.Sc or M.Sc in Foods and Nutrition or equivalent, with computer knowledge; Bengali reading, writing, and speaking ability.
• Social Worker: Graduate degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com) with 1 year Diploma in Computer Applications.
• NRC Attendant: Higher Secondary Pass with good communication and counseling skills in the local language.
• Cook cum Caretaker: Higher Secondary Pass with good communication and counseling skills in the local language; must know all types of cooking.

General requirements

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• Knowledge of local languages is required.
• All essential qualifications must be completed on or before the date of advertisement (19.12.2025).
• Preference may be given to local candidates (within 5 km) for Attendant and Cook posts.
