CPCL 2026 Eligibility (Diploma Holders)

CPCL01 - Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production)

• 3-year Diploma in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering or B.Sc. with Chemistry as major; minimum 60% (GEN/OBC/EWS), 55% (SC against reserved posts)
• Minimum 3 years' relevant post-qualification experience in Continuous Process Units of Refining/Chemical/Petrochemical/Fertilizer/Gas Processing industries

CPCL02 - Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical)

• 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering; minimum 60% (GEN/OBC/EWS), 55% (SC/PwBD against reserved posts)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance of rotary and stationary equipment in Refinery/Petrochemical/Chemical/Fertilizer/Power Plant or large industrial setups

CPCL03 - Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical)

• 3-year Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering; minimum 60% (GEN/OBC/EWS), 55% (SC/PwBD against reserved posts)
• Minimum 3 years' experience maintaining motors, transformers, generators, HT/LT switchgear, UPS, battery banks, VFDs, with ability to troubleshoot control circuits in a continuous process industry

CPCL04 - Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation)

• 3-year Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Electronics/Instrumentation & Control/Electronics & Communication; minimum 60% (GEN/OBC/EWS), 55% (SC against reserved posts)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in process control instrumentation maintenance, field instruments/control valves, DCS/PLC familiarity, ability to read P&ID and generate calibration reports

All qualifications must be from a recognized Government of India institution; higher qualifications (e.g., B.E./B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA) may render a candidate ineligible. Diploma via lateral entry is acceptable subject to percentage criteria.
