Age detail

Age limits are calculated as on 31 March 2026: Class 6 (10-12), Class 7 (11-13), Class 8 (12-14), Class 9 (13-15). Relaxations apply as noted above.

Eligibility details

• Only Delhi residents are eligible.
• Age criteria (as on 31 March 2026):
  • Class 6: Completed 10 years but less than 12 years
  • Class 7: Completed 11 years but less than 13 years
  • Class 8: Completed 12 years but less than 14 years
  • Class 9: Completed 13 years but less than 15 years
• Age relaxation: 6 months at the Head of School (HoS) level.
• Divyang (PwD) candidates get additional relaxation: 6 months in lower age and up to 4 years in upper age.
• Students who passed the previous class in 2025-26 from recognized unaided Delhi schools with a valid SLC are exempted from strict age criteria.

• Cycle-I Display of Allotted Schools: 21 Apr 2026
• Cycle-I Document Verification/Submission: 22 Apr to 30 Apr 2026
• Cycle-II Online Registration: 30 Apr 2026 (12 Noon) to 25 May 2026 (5 PM)
• Cycle-II Display of Allotted Schools: 12 Jun 2026
• Cycle-II Document Verification/Submission: 15 Jun to 30 Jun 2026
• Cycle-III Online Registration: 01 Jul 2026 (12 Noon) to 25 Jul 2026 (5 PM)
• Cycle-III Display of Allotted Schools: 07 August 2026
• Cycle-III Document Verification/Submission: 10 Aug to 31 Aug 2026
• Manual admission: Last date for manual application - 17 August 2026; Display of allotted schools (manual) - 21 August 2026; Last date of admission - 31 August 2026
