Age Details

• Maximum age: 28 years as on 30-06-2026.
• Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC as per government rules.

JRF Eligibility by Post

• JRF (Computer Science & Engineering): ME/M.Tech in CSE/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or BE/B.Tech with NET/GATE in CSE/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology and allied subjects, with first division at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• JRF (Structural Engineering): ME/M.Tech in Structural Engineering with first division, or BE/B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Civil Engineering (specializing in Structural Engineering).
• JRF (Geo-informatics/ Remote Sensing & GIS): ME/M.Tech in Geo-informatics/Remote Sensing & GIS/Geomatics/Geospatial Engineering with first division, or BE/B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Geo-informatics/Remote Sensing & GIS/Geomatics/Earth Science/Environmental Science; candidate must hold a Bachelor of Science degree.
• JRF (Atmospheric Science/Meteorology): ME/M.Tech in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Environmental Engineering with first division, or BE/B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Environmental Engineering, or Postgraduate Science degree with NET/GATE in the relevant field.

Walk-in Procedure

• Read the official notification carefully before attending.
• Report to the venue at the time specified in the notification.

• Confirm eligibility criteria before attending the interview and arrive early to complete registration formalities.
