DRDO’s Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL) in Kochi invites candidates for walk-in interviews to fill Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions across seven disciplines.   • Opto Electronics: BE/B.Tech in Opto Electronics (1st Division) with valid GATE; or ME/M.Tech in Opto Electronics (1st Division); or BE/B.Tech in EEE/ECE with relevant papers (GATE) (1st Division).
  • Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation Engineering: BE/B.Tech in the relevant discipline (1st Division) with valid GATE; or ME/M.Tech in the relevant discipline (1st Division).
  • Physics: Postgraduate degree in Basic Science with valid NET/GATE (1st Division).
  • Oceanography / Ocean Technology / Meteorology: Postgraduate degree in Basic Science with valid NET/GATE; or ME/M.Tech in Oceanography/Ocean Technology/Meteorology (1st Division).

Notes:

  • Qualifications from foreign universities require equivalence certificates.
  • NET/GATE validity must be on the date of the walk-in interview.
  • Candidates should apply through proper channel if currently employed in Government/Public Sector or Autonomous Bodies.
