Age

Minimum age: 18 years. No upper age limit is specified in the notification.

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/EEE, IT/CSE, or Civil Engineering
• Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): B.A./B.Sc./BBA, etc.

General Eligibility

• Indian citizen aged 18 years or above at the time of application
• Must have passed the requisite full-time Degree/Diploma from a recognized University/Board in India within five years prior to the closing date
• Not eligible if already registered under a NATS contract for training elsewhere or if having one or more years of work experience

Important Instructions

• Apprentices will be governed by reservation rules applicable in DTL and the Government of NCT of Delhi.
• No TA/DA will be paid for walk-in selection.
• After completion of Apprenticeship, the contract may be terminated with no obligation for employment.
• Misconduct can lead to disqualification.
• Apprentices are not covered under the Provident Fund Act or ESI as they are not employees.
• Keep records of training and attendance and submit monthly to the Training Department.
• Apprentices will not be entitled to remuneration beyond the stipend and will not receive TA/DA or housing.
• DTL reserves the right to amend terms, cancel, or adjust the number of engagements. Check the official site and NATS portal for corrigenda/addenda.
• DTL will not communicate non-selection to applicants.

1. Register as a "STUDENT" on the Apprenticeship portal (NATS) at www.nats.education.gov.in and obtain a valid APAR ID.
2. Download the application form from the DTL website (dtl.gov.in).
