ESIC Faculty Recruitment 2026 - Walk-In for 5 Faculty Posts

Age

• Maximum age limit: 65 years (as of the interview date).
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Central Government rules. No age relaxation for SC/ST for Unreserved vacancies.

Eligibility (Overview)

• Professor: BDS degree with postgraduate qualification in the respective subject and 5 years of teaching experience as Associate Professor in a recognized dental college, with publication points as per DCI guidelines.
• Associate Professor: BDS with Masters in Dental Surgery recognized by the Government of India, four years of teaching experience post‑graduation, and minimum publication points as per DCI guidelines.
• Assistant Professor: BDS with Masters in Dental Surgery or MBBS with MD in Physiology, or M.Sc (Medical Physiology) with PhD in medical physiology from a recognized institution, with relevant experience as specified.

Candidates may apply for more than one post but must submit separate applications for each post.

Application Fee

Note: Fees are non-refundable and must be paid by Demand Draft in favor of ‘ESIC Fund Account No.1’ payable at Kalaburagi at the time of the Walk-in interview.

• No TA/DA will be provided for interview or joining.
• Private practice is not allowed during ESIC tenure.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to amend or cancel the advertisement without prior notice.

• On the day of the walk-in, candidates already employed should bring a No Objection Certificate from their current employer.
• Applicants may be required to deposit a security/caution amount as described in the notification.

• Separate application forms, documents, photographs, and demand drafts are required for each post applied for.
• The final selection is based on performance in the walk-in interview and related eligibility criteria as per the recruitment board.
